Your Birth Your Way

At Family Birth Services our focus to is make your birth experience be personalized and tailored to fit your needs. Our goal is to provide you with the best care, with the least amount of intervention, and continual education.
As a midwife, my practice is dedicated to educating you about pregnancy and birth. Our initial consultations are without charge to establish a relationship and to allow you to ask all the questions you want. I believe the family should have every opportunity to make informed decisions regarding their birth. Since childbirth is an experience that is only gone through a limited number of times in a person’s life, I would like to help you have the experience that you desire.

I was raised in a big Italian family. I have been married for over 30 yrs. I have 11 wonderful children and 11 grandchildren. I still have 3 children at home with the youngest being 12 yrs. old. We live on 5 beautiful acres, 4 miles from town.

Birth center:
We have a beautiful birth apartment right on my property. It has a new jacuzzi tub, it’s own kitchen, a peaceful atmosphere.

Schooling and experience:
I began formal midwifery training in 2003. My life is dedicated to serving the Lord first and as a midwife I feel I’m a tool in the hand of the God . God gives life and as the midwives of old I serve Him.
Being a mother of 11 children I have had a lot of personal experience. I had 6 hospital births and 5 at home. I believe personal experience is one of the bests teachers.

In 2003 I graduated from Association of Texas Midwives School, located in Tyler TX. After passing the national board exams, I earned my national certification by the North American Registry of Midwives, of Certified Professional Midwife. I have been licensed to practice midwifery in the state of Texas since August 2003. In the State of Montana I am a licensed under the board of Alternative Health Care since May of 2007. My license # is 36.

I have attended over 260 births to date. Over 160 of those births I was the primary care giver.

I opened the birth Center in Libby in Sept 2005, we have an average 17 births a year at this time leaving plenty of time to spend quality time with each client.
